Peace Hero Gathering in Colorado
What can we do for peace?
It’s a question many of us ask ourselves, especially in times when the world feels divided or overwhelming. One of our favorite answers is simple: gather together.
Peace gatherings create space for connection, reflection, and inspiration. We meet new people, share stories, create something meaningful together, and remind ourselves that peace begins in everyday human interactions. At our Peace Hero Gathering in Colorado, we celebrated the people who inspire us most — our peace heroes. These are individuals who made a difference in their communities, families, schools, workplaces, or neighborhoods. Some are well-known leaders, while others are ordinary people whose quiet actions created extraordinary impact. By sharing their stories, we learn from real examples of courage, compassion, and service. We honor their lives, celebrate their contributions, and ask ourselves an important question:
What action can I take for peace today?
Peace is not only a global idea. It is something we practice daily.
It can be as simple as:
listening with kindness,
helping a neighbor,
creating art together,
starting a meaningful conversation,
or sitting with a cup of tea or coffee and intentionally thinking about peace.
The more we notice peace around us, the more we help make it visible.
Maybe a small peace reminder every Monday could help us stay connected to that intention — a moment to pause and choose one peaceful action for the week ahead.
Peace grows when we keep it present in our daily lives.
Today, we invite you to join us: Who is your favorite peace hero?
Share their story. Celebrate their impact. Inspire someone else.
Because every act of peace matters.
